Yoga for the Nervous System – in English

In this 60minute class we will use the practice of Restorative Yoga to help soothe the nervous system; by using props to support the body in comfort and ease to allow the body to let go. When we can find comfort and ease in a Restorative pose it allows the sympathetic nervous system (fight and flight) to calm down and your parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest) to take over and allow for deep relaxation.
This is an important practice especially in today’s fast pace world to allow yourself to take the time to learn to slow down and give yourself permission to rest.
This class is for everyone. Dress in warm comfortable clothes and bring a scarf or an eye cover.
