In this practice of restorative yoga, we use props such as blankets, bolsters, and blocks to provide optimal support for the body in comfort and ease. Postures are held for extended periods of time, allowing you to completely and effortlessly release and regenerate. It’s not about flexibility or strength, but about opening up and giving your body a moment of rest.
The practice of deep relaxation helps reduce stress, can help improve sleep and overall health as you gather new energy and cultivate an inner stillness that can be carried outside of class and into the world.
